You will work on the Solutions and Analytics team at Tamr, playing an active role in all aspects of analytic development.
You’ll gain new skills related to data engineering and analysis through hands-on exposure to real challenges facing our enterprise customers. You’ll learn how multibillion-dollar companies are using machine learning and leading-edge technologies to modernize their infrastructure and turn their data into a competitive advantage.
Throughout the summer, you will get broad exposure to teams and leaders throughout Tamr, providing you with insight into the operations of a growth-stage company and the range of potential opportunities. Many Tamr interns join the company in a full-time role after graduation.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other members of the Solutions and Analytics team on delivering analytical insights to existing and prospective customers
- Perform large-scale data analysis to extract relevant business insights, and build customer-facing presentations and dashboards
- Develop scripts to automate routine analysis and visualization tasks
Qualifications
- All undergrad and graduate students are welcome to apply
- Major or minor in a technical field
- Demonstrated interest and aptitude for working with data
- Experience with one of the following is strongly recommended: Python (NumPy, Pandas), Tableau, Jupyter Notebooks, or other data mining and visualization software
- Experience in presenting qualitative and quantitative information to a diverse audience is a strong plus
