We’re looking for a VP of Tech E&O to help fuel our growth! In this new player coach role, you’ll be responsible for growing our book of Tech E&O business and managing a team of underwriters. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for someone who’s tired of the status quo and wants to work in a more dynamic and innovative insurance environment where they can really shine.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the ongoing execution of Corvus’ Tech E&O strategy
Manage & mentor a team of underwriters
Partner with the Head of Cyber and Tech E&O on managing priorities and achieving team goals
Achieve premium production and sales goals while building a profitable book of Tech E&O business
Work with risk capital partners to further Tech E&O strategy
Build and enhance broker relationships nationally
Drive consistent underwriting best practices
Ensuring high quality service standards and compliance with all underwriting guidelines
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Data Science and other teams within Corvus in order to maximize our value proposition in the insurTech space
Serve as a representative of the company by attending external company functions, industry conferences, and other industry events
Qualifications
A minimum of 7 years of underwriting experience with Tech E&O; management or team lead experience preferred
Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally to execute strategic initiatives
Strong broker relationships nationally
Proven success improving production and quality metrics
Advanced technical expertise and knowledge of underwriting principles, practices and procedures
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
Highly organized with superb attention to detail
Exceptional verbal and visual communication skills
Willingness to travel nationally to major cities
