Responsible for People/HR functions, including recruiting, benefits management and administration, performance management, HRIS, internal communications, and compliance. This is a highly visible position with regular communication with the senior leadership of Corvus.

Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition: Assume ownership for the entire recruiting lifecycle. Work with our Talent Acquisition Specialist who works with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies and draft position descriptions, select outsider placement agencies if needed, and manage the candidate interview process from invitation to final selection.
  • Support the onboarding of newly hired employees
  • Compensation and Title Management - base salary, ICP, annual bonuses; strategic development of plans
  • Benefit Programs: Responsible for benefit design and implementation and annual review and update of benefit plans
  • Performance Management: Manage the annual goal setting and performance review process. Manage Quarterly ICP programs for Sales, Underwriting and other teams
  • Internal Communication: Serve as the internal “public” face and regularly check-in with all employees
  • Be the first to know what’s working and what’s not on HR issues for every employee
  • HR Resource for Employees: Serve as the resource for employees for questions and issues with benefit vendors, laws and regulations
  • Employee data management and data integrity: provide HR related reports to senior management
  • HR vendor management: Serve as lead contact with all HR vendors worldwide for recruitment and benefit related activities
  • HR Communication Strategy: Set strategy and process for our internal HR communications to employees, including maintaining the employee handbooks, select and manage an HR portal
  • Build a strategy to expand HR staff
  • Management of our office manager

Desired Skills

  • Excellent understanding of benefits and payroll in the US, some experience in foreign jurisdictions and proven ability to learn
  • Solid knowledge of US regulatory compliance issues
  • Highly collaborative style and demonstrated ability to build relationships with senior management and employees
  • Capable of planning and managing projects with minimal supervision; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting across functions
  • Experience in HR at a fast-growth tech company, particularly growth from 50 - 250 employees
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5-10 years management experience in HR in a small company (50-250 employees) with overall responsibility for HR in domestic and international offices
  • Solidly proficient in and completely comfortable with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint as well as Google Suite
  • PHR or SHRM certification preferred
