The Role

Veeva is a growth company on track to more than double in size to 10,000 employees strong by 2025. We are looking for a Talent Partner to support our growing Finance, Accounting, & Legal teams. As a part of a progressive Talent Attraction team, you will not be bound by traditional recruiting standards-- we want you to think outside the box and be an autonomous leader. Success entails building deep partnerships with senior leadership including our Global CFO, Chief Accounting Officer, General Counsel, and our global Talent Attraction team. Our ideal candidate is a team player, customer service oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced constantly evolving environment. 

What You'll Do

  • Partner with senior leadership and hiring managers to build a world-class Finance & Legal team in North America.
  • Provide expertise and insights into talent pools nationally and assist the team in identifying target markets; develop a strategy to attract top talent. 
  • Work closely with the Finance & Legal organization to define and prioritize headcount and candidate personas.
  • Identify and engage candidates that align with our needs, and be their point of contact throughout the hiring process.
  • ​​Oversee and manage a high-touch, personalized, and streamlined candidate experience.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Talent Attraction organization -- bring in SMEs (Operations, Analytics, Talent Marketing) when necessary to help drive results.
  • Manage the needs of multiple hiring managers concurrently, across a wide variety of roles.
  • Go beyond the traditional bounds of recruitment -- Talent at Veeva is not transactional and hiring managers are a critical component of the process and your success.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in recruiting; preferably for Finance, Accounting, Legal, or Marketing roles
  • Experience hiring top-quality talent across a variety of markets for SaaS companies 
  • Strong network/ networking skills and knowledgeable of what’s going on in the market and how to leverage it
  • Ability to build strong relationships across all levels within the organization - can disseminate information, comfortably discuss talent data and insights
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

We are building a new product to help clinical trials run faster and more efficiently. I can't imagine any other opportunity that would be as impactful, especially in a time of public health crisis. After graduating from the University of Texas, Arlington, I joined Veeva as an Associate Software Engineer in their Generation Veeva program. Since then, I've been with the company for three years now, have been promoted to a Software Engineer, and moved from our Pleasanton, CA HQ to one of our first engineers in Boston, MA.
