Who you are
You are an intrinsically motivated professional who is fiercely driven to achieve results, and whose motivation is outmatched only by an unbridled passion for helping companies grow their teams with the best talent. Co-workers would describe you as “really caring about your work” and someone that “has a great eye for talent.”
“Recruiting” is not a dirty word for you. Instead, it means you are a partner to the business, taking your job seriously to find the right talent based on good judgment, following a flexible process, and knowing when to roll up your sleeves and source for candidates. You can strike a balance between being service-oriented to your hiring partners and having the courage to be the owner of process and outcomes. Sometimes that means making hard decisions or respectfully challenging other points of view. You’d also be a top performer on any sales team (maybe you actually were in a past role) but are more fulfilled by winning talent than hitting a sales quota.
Above all, you are driven to deliver for your customers, internally and externally, set the right priorities for yourself, can manage and measure your work, and of course, like any effective talent acquisition professional, you know how to size up candidates, even if only with limited interaction.
You have 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience including intaking roles, sourcing, and closing at a high volume (owning 5+ different reqs. at any given time) and have also impacted broader strategies for a team or department beyond the activities that go into recruiting.
What the role is
In this Talent Acquisition Partner role, you will play a critical part in Drizly’s rapid growth by joining the Talent Acquisition team to hit aggressive hiring goals in pursuit of 140+% YoY headcount growth across the country. By working with several hiring managers, you will operate as a partner by owning process and driving outcomes. This will include directing strategies using Drizly’s historical hiring data and market trends, crafting thoughtful hiring plans, coaching hiring partners and interview committees, and executing on the recruiting tasks to build and maintain strong candidate funnels.
You will join a high output Talent Acquisition team as a co-owner of who and how we hire, something we take very seriously. You will also model the behaviors and values the People Operations team holds itself to, in order to cultivate an inclusive environment where a diverse set of people can and want to do their best work.
In this role you will:
- Own the full-cycle recruiting strategy for the Marketing, G&A, and Strategic Partnerships teams from sourcing through getting offer letters signed.
- Help to drive the efforts to diversify the team through sourcing and other strategies that create equitable pathways for underserved minorities.
- Partner with hiring managers and interview committees on sourcing strategies and other elements of the hiring process to ensure quality hires and efficiency at scale (i.e. 12+ hires/ quarter individually). This includes reporting, process improvements, coaching interviewers, and more.
- Flex into various areas of Talent Acquisition, such as employer brand, and support your teammates on other People Operations initiatives.
