As a Sr. People Generalist, you will partner with select leaders in the Global R&D and Enterprise Division to implement talent priorities focusing on employee engagement, employer branding and fostering a purpose driven culture.  You will also provide operational and tactical support to the People business partner organization assisting in the implementation of people-related programs and other projects as assigned.  

 

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Business Partner: Consults with senior leaders on organizational/business issues, including change management, talent, culture, team building, leadership effectiveness and succession planning
  • Employee Relations: Interprets People guidelines and processes, provides information to employees on matters pertaining to their personal employee information, provides counsel to employees and managers concerning work-related issues and provides feedback to senior leaders when necessary. 
  • Organization Effectiveness: Participates in implementing workforce planning goals and process improvement initiatives; collaborates with international People team on country-specific needs
  • Program Management: Facilitates the performance management, bonus planning, focal and equity planning processes; prepares and delivers related reports to the People Business Partners and business leaders; partners with Talent Acquisition team to support Division/Function hiring processes
  • Data Gathering and Analysis: Participates in data gathering and analysis as it relates to compensation and/or benefits activities, internal mobility and employee turnover and provides recommendations for employee retention efforts. 
  • Employee Engagement and Development: Supports new hire and employee on-boarding process and other employee development and may be involved in needs assessments and recommendations; supports employee engagement initiatives including local employee team building and social initiatives
  • Administration: Facilitates employee terminations and conducts exit interviews. Coordinates with HRIS, Payroll and Benefits teams to process administrative transactions as needed.

 

Qualifications:

 

Education & Years of Experience: 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 3 years and a Master’s degree

 

 

Required Experience:

  • Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience advising management on policy, program and organizational issues and implementing solutions
  • Possess working knowledge of employment laws, compensation practices, recruiting processes and HR procedures and systems

  • Exceptional organizational, time management, negotiation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work and build strong relationships with People partners, senior managers, and leaders
  • Ability to work independently, handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and negotiate and collaborate effectively
  • Highly analytical with ability to understand business metrics, customer and market trends
  • Strong communicator with the ability to build and deliver effective presentations
  • Intermediate to advanced level of expertise in MS Office tools
