Senior Recruiting Manager
Our Opportunity:
Chewy is looking for a Senior Recruiting Manager to lead Experienced Hiring for our Software Engineering Teams within our Technology Organization in Boston, MA. This individual will partner with key stakeholders to identify top Software Engineering talent for our rapidly growing e-commerce business. This role acts a as a full-cycle recruiter who understands how to source quickly and creatively, while always keeping candidate experience top of mind. The Senior Recruiting Manager is responsible for owning stakeholder relationships and strategically partnering with the business to drive hiring and lead adoption of best practices. What You'll Do:
- Own a direct relationship and manage 2 or more VP leaders
- Drive the work for a portion, or all of the org for those VPs (helping set priorities; driving recruiting strategy; streamlining process, etc.)
- Have comfort with data and presenting progress reporting and trends
- Help align priorities with other recruiters
- Execute Full-cycle recruiting and pipelining plans
- Build recruiting strategies and drive execution to ensure goals are met
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs in order to identify the right talent
- Develop pipeline of candidates in niche areas as determined by market needs and business strategies
- Track goals, metrics and performance of the hiring cycle; regularly communicate status and results
- Identify and execute engagement opportunities to seek local talent within Chewy Locations: Boston, Seattle, Florida, Minneapolis
What You'll Need:
- Minimum 7+ years of recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum 5+ years of Software Engineering OR Product Management focused recruiting experience, ideally a combination of both
- Successful track record of negotiating complex offers
- Strong knowledge of, and experience with, outside recruiting resources including social recruiting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to take initiative and build strong productive relationships
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to work in fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Savvy with the latest tech and tools
- Position may require travel
