The Senior Learning & Development Specialist will collaborate with People Development and the broader People Strategy team to create and scale learning and training programs for employees at Rapid7, with a specific focus on our new hires. In short, you will be the driving force behind new hire onboarding, across the company, and partner with key stakeholders to iterate, evolve, and measure the impact of a world-class onboarding experience. As a Sr. Learning & Development Specialist, you will play an integral role in shepherding our core values, culture, and shared mission.
Job Requirements
WHAT THE ROLE WILL LOOK AND FEEL LIKE:
Create and manage learning experiences from end to end, including all stages of program/curriculum design and delivery. Specifically, during a new hire’s first 90 days.
Partner with People Strategy and other business leaders to help design functional enablement.
Partner with People Development team members to ensure alignment across all employee learning programs.
Author new curriculum, as well as iterate and enhance existing content to support new hires to drive both business and customer impact and embody our core values.
Lead both live instructor-led and virtual trainings for new hires.
Co-train in conjunction with key stakeholders across the Rapid7 ecosystem.
Collect and analyze data/feedback to help iterate, scale, and propel learning momentum.
Evaluate the current state of learning programs and identify opportunities for change.
Demonstrate an amazing attitude -personable, approachable, and always eager to help.
Utilize Rapid7’s learning management system to manage program logistics when necessary (experience with Workday Learning is preferred).
Research, initiate, and manage third-party vendor relationships so that you may integrate new and innovative technologies.

Additional qualifications include:
4+ years of program management experience, including 2+ years of curriculum development and ILT facilitation/teaching.
Previous LMS experience helpful, but not required.
Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the GSuite.
Master’s degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree required.
