Senior People Business Partner

We’re looking for a Senior People Business Partner to join our global and culturally engaged people operations team to support the growth and success of our most valuable asset: our employees. From onboarding to the last day of each ezCater journey, you’ll play a key part in providing the guidelines, accommodations, and unparalleled support to every employee that walks through our doors. It’s an awesome opportunity for a business-enabling HR professional to join an organization at a pivotal point in its trajectory and have clear, visible impact on the health of its path.
You will:
- Own employee relations investigations across multiple departments and business channels
- Support HR activities, including (but not limited to) people matters, behavioral intervention, performance management guidance, leaves of absence and accommodations.
- Proactively partner with business leaders to coach conversations related to performance management, talent reviews, people matters, employee engagement, and organizational change/optimization.
- Ensure fair and consistent application and execution of ezCater programs and guidelines
- Provide training and development to managers and supervisors on guidelines, practices, leadership skills and communication
- Assist in the delivery and administration of training programs for talent development
- Partner with the People team on various activities including onboarding, transfers, promotions, separations, retirements, etc.
- Conduct employee stay and exit interviews
- Partner with team leaders to ensure consistency in all people practices, standards and processes
- Influence practices to increase employee engagement and satisfaction
- Balance the 10,000-foot strategic discussions with the details of the day to day. You can build the plane while flying it.
You have:
- 5+ years of HR experience
- SPHR or SHRM- SCP certification
- Working knowledge of FMLA & ADA
- Deep knowledge of compliance, both federal and state employment statutes and regulations
- Experience operating in “gray spaces” and the knowledge to provide necessary structure when required
- Experience leading and mentoring through influence
- Experience operating in a highly-regulated, high-growth environment
- A passion for people and a big heart
