As a key member of the TripAdvisor Compensation team, the primary objective of the Senior Compensation Analyst is to provide advanced consulting and analytical expertise to support the development, design, implementation and administration of TripAdvisor’s global compensation programs and policies.

We are looking for a proactive, problem solver with areas of strong expertise within global compensation and with real interest in sales compensation. This role will require strong relationship building with global People Operations Business Partners, our Talent Acquisition team, HRIS team and all levels of management to ensure consistency and accuracy of all compensation-related issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Support TripAdvisor’s short and long-term compensation strategy including but not limited to market position, career-pathing, attraction, retention, reward and recognition, incentive design, communication methods and education.
  • Build and deliver unified compensation programs which will include but not limited to competitive market analysis, offer development and internal pay for performance analyses.
  • Participate and/or lead Annual Review Cycle including design, administration, distribution and communication.
  • Sales Compensation – work in close relationship with Sr. Director, Global Compensation:
    • Define best Sales Compensation practices for the different TripAdvisor Sales organizations:
      • Management, Direct and Inside Sales Jobs Leveling across the different business units,
      • Competitiveness of pay,
      • Split fix/variable,
      • Sales metrics,
    • Partner with key stakeholders (Sales Operations and Analytics, Sales, HR, Finance and Legal) for an effective management of all items related to Sales Compensation
    • Own the overall Sales Plan process:
      • Documentation,
      • Terms and conditions,
      • Compliance,
      • Approvals
      • Revision
    • Ensure best integration between sales compensation data and our HR system Workday: plan eligibility, sales targets, leaves, payroll feed,
    • Partner with Sales management and Sales Operations and Analytics on the quarterly sales payouts process
  • Collaborate with internal peers and leadership to provide a high level of consultative and support services, ensuring programs are effectively implemented.
  • Participate and/or lead special compensation projects.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree along with 5+ years of progressive work experience in global/international compensation;
  • Sales Compensation a plus,

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Ability to work independently, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to identify issues, develop recommendations, influence, and implement solutions.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Effective communication, facilitation and influencing skills. Ability to interact, present and communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Advanced Power-Point and Excel skills required; experience with Workday preferred.
  • Experience with FLSA, Massachusetts Pay Equity Act and other federal, state and local laws regulating compliance for company salary and pay policies.
