Senior Compensation Analyst
Looking to expand your compensation career and make an impact?! Rapid7 is looking for a Senior Compensation Analyst to join our Total Rewards team. This is a unique opportunity is perfect for a team player to join an amazing company with an amazing culture to match. In this role, you will build sustainable compensation programs globally that affect each and every employee. You will also be collaborating with the global Total Rewards team on diverse projects on a variety of broader projects. This role reports to the Sr Director of Total Rewards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, evaluation, and implementation of compensation programs globally - to support the diverse workforce of product, software engineering, marketing, sales focused roles.Consult with managers and People Strategy on compensation related inquiries.
- Partner with People Strategy team on execution of compensation cycles, review/approval of offers and ad hoc compensation related projects.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition team to advise on compensation ranges for new roles, as well as review of offer letters to ensure internal equity and competitiveness relative to external market pay practices
- Participate in various cross-functional projects including building a company wide job architecture to drive unification, internal and external equity and create the foundation to enable many exciting programs. Manage survey participation, expanding use of global surveys and design a tool for managers to utilize when determining whether a salary is competitive.
- Partner on the rollout of the annual compensation and equity planning cycle as well as other cycles/requests throughout the year. Communicate and reinforce alignment with the Rapid7 compensation approach and budget during Compensation planning of merit, market adjustments, promotions, bonus target increases and annual equity grants.
- Researching best practices; identify or respond to compensation issues or opportunities within groups/functions and develop solutions. May require data gathering, modeling and analysis.
- Participate in preparation of Compensation Committee Materials for quarterly meetings.
- Review and expand functionality related to managing compensation and jobs in Workday optimizing the setup, improve employee and manager experience as well as ensure compliance with SOX, internal policies and local labor laws.
Desired Skills And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant compensation experience; broad knowledge of compensation practices and past experience working for a global company in a compensation role required
- Collaborative and innovative style; someone who looks to solve problems with your customers, rather than dictates an “in the box” answer to them.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail with a measured sense of urgency. Ability to draw conclusions, themes and trends from data and propose business savvy and creative solutions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and is driven by making an impact while having an eye for improving processes and thinking outside the box
- Sound knowledge of job classifications under the US Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
- Previous experience with Workday a plus
