THE OPPORTUNITY:

As a Recruiter, you will play an essential role in our company’s growth. You will develop robust sourcing strategies and solutions to build pipelines and proactively capture top talent in a highly competitive market. You’ll help design and execute sourcing solutions that identify, capture, and engage passive candidates to support our metrics around Diversity & Inclusion, alongside enabling active candidates through the application process.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Manage searches from start-to-finish conducting initial phone screens with candidates and project managing applications from sourcing to offer
- Be a strategic thought partner to hiring managers during interview processes, including but not limited to: creating/updating job descriptions, creating candidate scorecards, designing interview guides and trainings, and managing offers
- Focus hiring managers and teams on ensuring positive candidate experiences throughout hiring processes
- Develop innovative and organized candidate sourcing strategies using multiple channels including sourcing campaigns through Gem, referral generation, talent branding efforts and other creative channels to support hiring goals
- Track and manage sourcing & D&I funnel metrics of the Recruitment team
- Maintain ActBlue’s hiring data systems (ATS, Trello, CultureAmp) to ensure that candidate and search information is up-to-date throughout application process
- Develop and lead internal interview trainings and onboarding for interviewers and hiring managers
- Establish strong relationships across the company and a thorough understanding of the needs of the different teams, and the roles beyond the job descriptions.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- You’ve interviewed plenty of candidates, have a few sourcing wins to share, and have ideas about creating outstanding candidate experience
- Commitment to building actively anti-racist interview processes with a lens towards Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in hiring
- Clear and compassionate communication style (written and verbal) that makes every candidate feel cared for and every hiring manager heard
- Problem-solver mentality: the ability to identify problems and figure out how to work through them with others
- Strong organizational skills and an interest in creating better systems and processes to manage our candidate experience
- Knows when to ask for help and advocates for what they need
- A close attention to detail
BONUS POINTS IF…
- You’ve used Greenhouse or another Applicant Tracking System previously
- You comfortable with reporting and data, and love a robust Excel spreadsheet
- You have a genuine passion for Democratic politics, social impact nonprofits, and small-dollar fundraising
- Experience working in a technology start-up and/or political campaign
LOCATION AND COMPENSATION
ActBlue’s headquarters are located in Davis Square in Somerville, MA, just a few blocks from Boston’s MBTA Red Line train. This posting is for a full-time, in office, salaried position based in Somerville, MA, though we are open to discussion about remote work for the right candidate. We are authorized to support remote work in California, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Texas, Virginia, or Washington DC.
In the short term: Due to COVID-19, we have shifted our entire staff to fully remote until June 2021. ActBlue is equipped to have you onboard and begin employment remotely from your home office if you are hired for this role. If working out of our ActBlue offices in Somerville long-term will entail relocation for you, we will work with you directly to make sure you’re able to relocate in a reasonable time frame once ActBlue resumes standard in-office work patterns.
Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000, depending on experience
