As People Operations Coordinator, you’re responsible for the day-to-day operations on the people team including new hire onboarding, payroll, benefits and performance management . You’re a self-starter with a roll up your sleeves mentality who can jump right in with minimal direction, manage deadlines, and successfully juggle evolving priorities.

What you'll work on

  • Support to the People Team with all administration throughout the employee life cycle
  • Champion, educate and communicate changes to People policies to the Circle team
  • Manage onboarding, payroll and benefits for all US offices/employees, including open enrollment and providing guidance to employees
  • Project manage new employee retention, recognition and performance programs as we evolve
  • Responsible for the accuracy of employee data and paperwork requirements within our HR systems, including BambooHR and People Team Wiki
  • Train new employees on utilization of HRIS systems
  • Administrate the annual performance management program including manager communication of upcoming reviews, tracking completion and evaluating all reviews to highlight high performance and areas for training.
  • Liaise with recruiting and vendors to assist with visa applications for new hires in the US

What you'll bring to Circle

  • 3+ years of people operations experience including 1+ years with payroll and benefits in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment
  • Experience with the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, ramp-up and offboarding
  • Exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail and ability to make sure all tasks are seen through to completion
  • Highly intuitive and able to anticipate and proactively address needs with minimal direction
  • Strong sense of initiative and creative approach towards problem solving
  • Exhibit confidentiality and discretion in dealing with highly sensitive information
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
