3Play Media is hiring an HR Generalist for our growing Human Resources team! The HR Generalist will lead our recruiting efforts and be responsible for providing seamless Human Resources support and services to managers and staff across the organization. Successful candidates will have experience working on various facets of the full life-cycle of an employee and should be familiar with a broad range of HR responsibilities and duties.
The HR Generalist position reports to the Sr. Director of Human Resources.
Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition: Own and drive full life-cycle recruiting for hiring across the company; build strong hiring manager relationships in order to drive decision making and decrease time to fill; build strong candidate relationships to ensure high level candidate experience; manage external contract recruiter relationships
- Operational Support: Research the best avenues for expanding our international editing and QA talent pools and assist with recruiting and onboarding new contractors
- Employer Branding: Partner with external vendors (BuiltIn, Glassdoor,etc) to ensure our Boston brand presence is strong, manage partnerships (Women in Tech, Resilient Coders, Hack Diversity, etc) and event management to continue to build brand presence and increase diverse candidate sources
- Immigration: Work directly with our Immigration Attorney to apply for different types of work visas for new and current employees
- Onboarding Administration & Facilitation: Serve as the first point of contact for our New Hires, focusing on a best in class onboarding experience for all hires including a welcoming desk on Day 1, working with individual departments to ensure their onboarding training is effective and relevant, and spending time with new hires to ensure their onboarding is productive, fun and motivating
- Employee Relations: Whether it's handling complaints, helping employees navigate changes, or resolving conflicts, you will be working to support our team to ensure each individual continues to feel motivated and safe in our environment
- Learning & Development: Support Sr. Director of HR in training and growth plans to develop people, optimize organizational structure, and foster an engaged culture
- DEI: Integrate Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion into all aspects of our people activities
- HR Strategy: Support Sr. Director of HR in implementing HR strategies, goals, and objectives, as well as annual budgeting and forecasting
- Performance Management: Support annual performance review process and assist with performance related concerns as needed
- Policies and Procedures: Partner with the Sr. Director of HR to create and implement new processes, systems and procedures
- Payroll: Process and manage the company’s biweekly payroll
- HRIS Management: Ensure the data integrity of our HRIS system as well as the file organization and management of employee related files
- Compliance & Auditing: Maintain our compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree; PHR or SHRM certification preferred
- 5+ years of HR experience in a dynamic and agile environment. Tech-focused and/or start up experience a plus
- 1+ years of direct recruiting experience either as as a Generalist or Recruiter
- Empathetic - Brings a human-first approach to employee relations and HR practices
- Willing to work hard and do any of the required tasks necessary to complete the job or address the issue
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Capable of working independently in a fast paced environment
- Discretion in handling the most sensitive employee information
- Ability to prioritize and act with urgency when necessary
- Proficient in using Google Suite applications
- Experience with Greenhouse and/or ADP Workforce Now a plus
