Responsibilities:

  • Set operational plans and conduct ongoing leadership training to develop team leaders
  • Maintain all compliance-related training is in accordance with relevant legal considerations and work in collaboration with compliance teams across the organization
  • Identify and scale cross-training opportunities across the organization
  • Conduct training frameworks as foundational training and continuing professional developmental training open to the entire organization
  • Training platforms are offered across many different channels and provide superior communication about training opportunities throughout the organization

Competencies:

  • Strong communicator, Influencer and relationship-builder, building trust while identifying clear division of roles and responsibilities; able to convey a vision and strategy
  • Strong Process orientation – needed to optimize training processes to efficiently scale
  • Ensure cross-functional projects are prioritized and aligned to meet the needs of the business and managed effectively
  • Instructional design and training delivery competencies: Classroom, e-learning, and blended learning expertise
  • Ensures strategic alignment with business goals and demonstrates thought leadership on key areas of people development
  • Understands business units in terms of training needs, timing for engagement and skills sets
  • Establishes enterprise training metrics and evaluates past performance and future planning
  • Able to build relationships with a wide range of people, respond to issues, and involve stakeholders from across the business
  • Demonstrated learning business partner competencies - active listening, strategic thinking, identify root cause, influence adoption
  • Effective marketing and engagement skills: able to encourage willful participation in learning content that may be mandatory, optional, or not directly applicable to a core job competency
  • Creative design, graphic design, sound recording, and video recording/editing skills a plus
  • Can focus on and manage multiple projects
  • Have the empathy and ability to engage with people who don’t identify as learners or aren’t initially excited about learning

 Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience
  • Managed teams for 5+ years
  • Experience scaling L&D and/or training in an organization that has grown from 1000-2000+ people
  • Experience working in and leading cross-functional teams; internal and external to organization
  • Has teaching experience or equivalent vendor management experience; has a perspective on what a great, modern learning experience means
  • Proficient in developing soft skills, management training, professional development curricula
  • Fluency in scoping, measuring, and analyzing feedback data & learning metrics
  • Experience developing, promoting, and leading diversity and inclusion programming, a plus 
  • Experience rolling out compliance trainings, a plus

Location

On the edge of Charlestown, we are within walking distance to restaurants and bars. The Sullivan Square T and bus stop is also right next door! We are currently working remote/hybrid with the exception of our fantastic Biotrinsic team who work from the office and lab space here.
