Payfactors is looking for a Compensation/HR Data Analyst to join our Compensation team to partner with and assist our clients with their organization data configuration, implementation, and participation. The Compensation/HR Data Analyst will play a key role in the collection, analysis, and reporting of compensation data in support of new and existing client-facing data products.
 
The right individual for this role will be a motivated, energetic, and detail-oriented compensation or HR professional who is an extremely effective communicator. The individual must have a compensation, HRIS, or HR data background, be proficient working with large data sets, and an analytical mind. This position can be located in either Burlington MA or Quincy MA.
Requirements/Skills:
Bachelor’s degree required
4+ years of progressive compensation, HRIS, or HR data experience
CCP certification is preferred but not required
Intrinsic self-starter and problem solver
Proficient working with large data sets and Microsoft Excel; experience with SQL or Access a plus
Able to manage multiple project and timelines and complete tasks quickly
Ability to grow professionally in a highly flexible and fast-moving environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform job analysis and benchmarking research to develop compensation survey taxonomies
Interpret job descriptions, job summaries, and associated skills and responsibilities for auditing survey benchmarking activities
Identify similarities across—and establish and maintain relationships between—client data sets, third-party data sets, and proprietary Payfactors data sets
Assist in the design and administration of custom compensation data products or solutions
Ensure the accuracy and quality of data sets by performing thorough and complex data analysis
