Position Summary: The Senior Associate - Operations and Business Insight is responsible for supporting the operations of the Coaching and Training Services. The Associate will work with the team, other athena functions, and our clients to ensure operational excellence. The Senior Associate will ensure a data driven Coaching and Training business, by driving innovation in how we manage and leverage data on our team. This role will also contribute to expansion of operation, by identifying and communicating solutions that drive the evolution of our business, as well as providing support for internal projects as needed.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

80%

  • Drive strategy and analyses of Coaching and Training Services outcomes and data
    • Consult with team leadership on Key Performance Indicators (KPI), service outcomes, and user participant data. Monitor and identify trends across data and make recommendations to leadership based on observations.
    • Manage team SQL Server – work with Enterprise Technology teams to design and optimize CaTS database; maintain regular data publishing schedule from multiple sources; ensure accuracy of all data points.
    • Create and manage Tableau and Wave dashboards for business management and audience insight. Teach teammates of all levels how to use dashboards for day-to-day insight.
    • Drive partnerships with outside analytics teams to support company-wide reporting and technology projects. Ensure our database and data feeds can be easily leveraged by other tools.

  • Marketing & Communication of Classroom programs
    • Create and manage a regular marketing strategy for Coaching and Training services. Generate marketing communications through different channels (e.g., announcement postings, email campaigns, internal team briefings) for Classroom events; seek out and develop new channels to help grow our outreach.
    • Develop visually appealing and impactful resources to communicate course offerings, the Classroom program brand, and key program metrics (handouts, presentations, templates) for internal teams and clients.
    • Independently coordinate, prepare, and deliver regular presentations at Customer Success briefings on Coaching and Training services.


10%

  • Assist in additional projects identified through the Coaching and Training Services Team, with a focus on expanding centralized operational support of the team. Examples include:
    • Support technology innovations of our coaching or training tool vendors.
    • Find ways to automate manual work of other teams.
    • Coordinate internal team culture projects (building feedback skills, mentoring new employees, improving our Commons space).
    • Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders and partners
    • Other duties as assigned


Education, Experience & Skills Required:

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree;
  • 3 – 5 years of related business experience (e.g., healthcare, teaching, training, client services, project management),
  • Experience working with cross-functional groups and teams to achieve common goals;
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with data;
  • Proven ability to assume independent responsibility for various assigned projects;
  • Impeccable attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to juggle multiple tasks;
  • Demonstrated client-facing skills and strong interpersonal skills; confident, and articulate;
  • Mastery of all Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote
  • Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively
  • Experience with SQL, Tableau, and Wave desired

  • Must be self-directed and highly inquisitive;
  • Proven ability to assume independent responsibility for various assigned projects;
