The Team:
Within People Operations, recruiting is the first point of contact for new candidates in the hiring process, they play a critical role in identifying great talent, telling the Datadog story and ultimately turning great candidates into great employees. Our recruiters are strategic business partners, matchmakers, sellers and marketeers, all wrapped into one.
The Opportunity:
Join a team of driven recruiters, who are making an impact on the Boston market and the world of SaaS! We’re building the revenue engine of a high growth pre-IPO enterprise software company, and not slowing down. We want you to drive the success focused on hiring great Sales Development & Intern talent, while increasing our market visibility. No two days will never be the same!
You Will:
- Create a unique and exciting experience that best positions Datadog as an employer of choice on university campuses
- Manage campus recruitment events (e.g., career fairs, info sessions, etc.) from planning through execution at key universities, while gaining visibility among top sales programs in the Greater Boston area
- Be the main point of contact for university partners (e.g., career services, student organizations, professors, etc) to engage top qualified talent.
- Design & execute on appropriate go to campus strategies & effective hiring plans, in order to measure return on investment
- Driving partnerships with, Boston Startup bloggers, sales meetups, culture platforms, diversity groups, and other relevant organizations to market Datadog and our opportunities
- Own the interview lifecycle for new graduates & interns for our sales development space
- Report weekly campus recruiting & hiring activity with the Sales Development Directors & Managers.
- Traveling roughly 20% of your time
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or a related field
- 6+ months operating campus programs or events
- 2+ years in a recruiting role
- A self-starter that thrives in a non-structured environment
- Ability to work independently and simultaneously on multiple projects
- Ability to gather KPIs, analyze data & trends, and present findings to various audiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to influence others
- Microsoft Excel, intermediate level skills
- Desire to work in a high-growth & Fast paced atmosphere
Bonus Points:
- You have experience with or a passion for the SaaS space
- You’ve worked at a startup &/or fast paced environments
- You come from a sales background
