HubSpot is looking for a Benefits Coordinator to join our People Operations team. This position is ideal for someone who has a passion for helping others, great attention to detail, and an interest in growing their career within the Benefits space.

As a trusted member of the People Operations team, you will be involved in all aspects of employee Benefits & Onboarding Administration. You will be a main point of contact on the Benefits team to help make HubSpot a better place to work for our employees.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Daily administration for employee benefits including, but not limited to, medical, dental, flexible spending, transit/parking, etc.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure remarkable new hire & ongoing employee experiences
  • Educate & assist employees on benefits offerings
  • Manage benefits email in-box and respond timely to inquires
  • Process benefits related enrollments, changes, and terminations in Workday
  • Administer COBRA process and liaise with external vendor
  • May conduct new hire benefits overview and serve as HR liaison for both pre & post hire
  • Process & verify background checks and i9’s via HireRight
  • Vendor administration & coordination
  • Assist with open enrollment period
  • Audit & reconcile monthly benefit invoices and new hire information
  • Create and maintain electronic employee files
  • Assist with other HR related projects, as needed

Skills & Education:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-3 years experience working in Human Resources, particularly in benefits administration preferred (includes internship experience)
  • Prior knowledge & experience with WorkDay or other HRIS is a huge plus
  • Prior experience in a fast paced company preferred
  • A strong customer service orientation with high attention to detail and follow through
  • Must be able to work with confidential information and must consistently exercise good judgment in dealing with a variety of sensitive situations and issues
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
