Role Description:
The head is responsible for developing and overseeing the marketing function of ProBio. The position will develop and execute the marketing strategy to ensure the achievement of financial goal as well as a sustainable growth. The position will design and optimize the process and organization to fulfill different functions in Marketing Department, including but not limited to marketing intelligence, product marketing management, market penetration, and brand operation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop marketing strategy covering product portfolio planning, global market penetration, and branding build-up.
- Develop annual marketing plan, set up marketing goals and key projects to execute the marketing strategy and achieve the financial goal.
- Work with the heads of Business Development, Corporate Development and C-Suite executives to develop or revise, as needed, company branding, image, messaging and presence globally or tailor regionally if required.
- Develop and refine the market and competitive intelligence programs and provide input on competitive strategies and strategic development of future services, technologies and products.
- Present to Senior Leadership when required on marketing programs, effectiveness and ROI analysis.
- Lead regional marketing teams to work with Business Development (BD) and Sales Operations to create marketing initiatives focused on lead generation
- Lead marketing teams to evaluate, select, develop and coordinate company or service branding, image, messaging and presence as appropriate through multiple marketing channels (e.g., advertising, promotional events, seminars/webinars, technical content, collateral, company website, e-marketing/digital and social network approaches etc.)
- Lead marketing teams to drive, create and execute on key technical / operational messages and align with appropriate company technical stakeholders / experts (KOLs) through multiple channels as described above to achieve company objectives
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in the life sciences; Graduate degree in the life sciences (M.S., and Ph.D.) and MBA preferred but not required
- At least 10 year’s healthcare, life science or pharma/biopharma contract services company marketing management experience; At least 5 years of successful marketing management experience within the CMO / CDMO / CRO space preferred but not required
- Fluent in English and Chinese languages; strong written and oral communication skills in each language required
- Experience and success in the management and execution of a wide variety of programs and tactics across a multitude of marketing channels
- Strong gravitas and team and relationship building skills
- Travel as needed to support marketing teams or the organization at the companies’ various sites or industry events
