The Head of Corporate Functions Data Products, Analytics and Integrations is a leadership role reporting to the CDO responsible for focusing on and defining the overall data strategy for data products, value creation, data sourcing and integrations to support analytics at scale. The leader will be creative and business results oriented and will elevate the use of data and analytics. Will be the subject matter expert with deep understanding of what drives agility, performance, value creation and analytics optimization within corporate functions.
Responsible to elevate the role, services and products of data and advanced analytics by collaborating with key stakeholders to understand their data needs and communicate the value of data driven decision making. Manage the overall portfolio of data and analytics products within that business domain and develop a strategic roadmap that advance business capabilities and AI ambitions.
ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You'll be at the forefront of overseeing data products, data integrations, governance, innovation, architecture, and documentation, shaping the future of our data landscape for corporate functions.
  • Be at the forefront of overseeing access security, data governance, enterprise stewardship, innovation, data marketplace, and documentation, shaping the future of our data landscape.
  • Explore innovative technologies and solutions to elevate our data capabilities and foster a culture of innovation across the Corporate Functions organization. Design and maintain a dynamic data architecture that aligns seamlessly with our business needs and EDA strategy, driving efficiency and agility.
  • Collaborate, drive and document data standards, best practices and guidelines to empower our stakeholders to harness the full potential of our data resources. Ensure global teams, both BU/BF have seamless integrations, consistency, and alignment of data initiatives.
  • Provide inspiring leadership, guidance and support to our talented data teams, ICC and business units fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • This role combines strong relationship management and consultative skills, research, quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods. The ability to influence, be a data and analytics evangelist and storytelling with data is critical to help the organization along the AI journey.
  • Work closely with the data domain quality teams to prioritize and measure data assets to ensure they are fit for purpose for analytics.
  • Will act as the product owner for all data products (both data and analytics) within that domain driving a roadmap for new products development and new features/functionality of existing products within that business domain.
  • Deliver tools and insights at scale through data and analytics by building out the right analytics strategies and team, using behavioral sciences, people data and data science to find insights that enable business teams to move faster, with more accurate and future looking decisions and action plans.

  • Work closely with the ICC and EDA team to ensure timely delivery of strategic roadmap, projects and escalations that impact customer satisfaction.
  • Work with business partners to identify value creation opportunities, build out the financial metrics on cost to achieve and measurable value creation to the business. Over see the MVP phase to ensure proposal can be an enterprise scalable solution.
  • Act as the Enterprise Domain lead for the Data Marketplace and Data Governance Platform ensuring data is managed as a corporate asset with the correct controls and guidelines.
  • Accountable for any audit remediation related to EDA audit controls.
  • Will be accountable to help drive the strategy of MDM and Data Quality controls the sub-domains that align to corporate functions such as Supplier Master, Employee Master, Finance Master.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to integrate and connect Corporate Functions data assets to working across the BU/BF, Functions, Regions, and EDA data governance program office.


EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree required and 8+ years in relevant data field including subject matter expertise in corporate functions data such as legal, privacy, ESG,people/employee data sets.
  • Advanced proficiency in statistical software package(s) (e.g., SAS, SPSS, data query tools, SQL, Python, R) and Tableau or other visualization tool(s) as well as Microsoft Excel and Google G-Suite and other digital tools.
  • Strong background in business development specific to data and analytics opportunities with excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • An expert strategic advisory and 'critical friend' to our CDO, CTRO and other key executives for all aspects of data and analytics.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data governance and management principles, with a deep understanding of data quality, integrity, and security.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  • Experienced in large scale data lakes, data analytics, data governance and data lifecycle management.
  • 8-10 years in pharma data and relevant ecosystems.
  • Fluent in working in highly federated business environments.
  • Strong collaboration and storytelling skills working closely with cross functional teams to ensure data partnerships are successful.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience driving end-to-end process and organizational change, while maintaining trusted and respected working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Experience and results in Business Partnership, Stakeholder Management, Relationship Management, Vendor Management, and Governance.
  • Experience in Product/Project/Program Management methodologies (e.g., SAFe, Agile).
