As a Government Market and Product Expansion Director within the Commercial Bank Payments team, you will serve as the subject matter expert for the Government market segment and the diverse payment needs of the Commercial Banking industry. Your deep understanding of the market landscape will be crucial in ensuring that our payments products are precisely aligned with the evolving demands of our clients, thereby promoting innovation and excellence in service delivery.

Job responsibilities
- Identifies and quantifies the core payment flows in the Government market segment, and defines the unique needs for each flow
- Builds business cases for development requirements to meet these needs
- Designs product operational activities to fit the market and adapts collateral, sales training, pricing, and request for proposal (RFP) materials to resonate with target segments
- Partners closely with Product teams to ensure adherence to industry regulations, controls frameworks, and governance approval processes
- Partner with marketing on value proposition, market positioning and communications, and with field strategy to ensure a thoughtful plan on sales readiness; also, partner with product to ensure internal readiness and support
- Collaborate with sales, client solution specialists (CSS) and marketing to manage Sales activities in an effort to drive commercialization of our products
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise supporting the commercial bank clients in Sales or Product capacity
- Significant experience in banking with understanding of the payments business, products, and the Government competitive landscape
- Proven ability to identify opportunities for market growth
- Demonstrated prior experience influencing across functions and teams while delivering value at scale
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior executive-level leaders
- Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Extensive experience in treasury services within the Government market segment
- First had knowledge of bank, fintech and competitive payments/card offerings
