The Mission

We are seeking a talented Financial Services Portfolio CTO to join our growing leadership team. The right candidate is someone who is both a visionary and action oriented leader to join our executive team and drive technological growth across a portfolio of customers within the financial services industry vertical. Reporting directly to the Chief Customer Officer, this unique CTO role is pivotal to our growth strategy. The ideal candidate will blend deep technological expertise with strong customer-facing skills, operational acumen and experience driving business value through technology initiatives.

Your mission will be to serve as the technological leader for a specific customer portfolio of 8-10 customers. In this role you will be responsible for leading the strategic technology decisions to support customer growth. You will work directly with customers to understand their needs and strategy, and take that knowledge to coordinate with sales, strategy and delivery teams to maximize customer value and experience. This role will have a responsibility to manage the P&L for the assigned customer portfolio, meaning leadership and alignment of delivery and billable resources will fall under your remit. We want an individual that is able to coach customer leadership across sales and delivery. Additionally, as an All-In-AWS partner, there is a need to stay at the forefront of cloud technology trends, particularly in the AWS ecosystem. As a senior leader within the company, we would also want this role to contribute to the overall company growth strategy and technological direction.

Your Assignment
  • Serve as the technological thought leader and trusted partner for a financial services focused customer portfolio
  • Drive innovation and strategic technology decisions to support customer growth
  • Work directly with customers to understand their needs and propose cutting-edge solutions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with delivery teams to ensure successful implementation of technology strategies
  • Manage P&L responsibility for the assigned customer portfolio and resources associated with active customer engagements 
  • Stay at the forefront of cloud technology trends, particularly in AWS ecosystems
  • Contribute to the overall company growth strategy and technological direction
Your Qualifications
  • 20+ years of experience in technology and consulting services. Important to have experience in both at some point, services and customer perspective are key.
  • 10+ years of experience in the financial service industry with expertise in areas such as banking, fintech, insurance, investment, or mortgage.  
  • Deep understanding of cloud-native technologies, with a strong affinity for AWS
  • Proven track record of driving technological innovation in customer management roles
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in cross-functional team management
  • Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex technical concepts to various audiences
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align technology solutions with business objectives
  • Experience with P&L management
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred

Base Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this position is $ - $ per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Additional Compensation Components: In addition to the base salary, the compensation package may include bonuses, commissions, equity, and other incentives. The specific components will vary depending on the role and individual and/or company performance. 

This role may require up to 25% travel, depending on business needs.
