Dimension & Scope:

The VP Finance & Global Corporate Controller will perform a strategic role for the company as a financial leader and will help scale the finance organization required to support the growing business. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Corporate Controller is responsible for managing and overseeing all facets for our global accounting operations, including monthly financial close cycle, financial reporting, internal control, policy development, global payroll management, accounts payable, and corporate filings.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the activities of the Worldwide Corporate Accounting Department for accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements, annual audits, and annual budgets.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, core employee expense reports, cash control, core payroll processing and total corporate payroll tax compliance.
  • Oversee the activities of accounts receivables to ensure the accurate and timely management of all aging components including billings, cash receipts application, etc.
  • Oversee quarter and year end payroll closings, including federal and state reports.
  • Supervise the accounting team, including the Senior Staff Accountant, Payroll, and Staff Accountants.
  • Coordinate the month-end and year-end closing process.
  • Oversee Netcracker's financial systems and business process
  • Review company financial statements for accuracy and clarity.
  • Manage an external audit by a Big 4 Firm.
  • Develop criteria for new accounting software and manage the implementation.

Education & Professional Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA certification and MBA highly preferred.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in a Big 4 Firm.
  • International experience.
  • Tax experience.
  • Ten years of hands-on Managerial Accounting experience.
  • SEC/Contractual negotiation is a plus.
  • IFRS & GAAP experience
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
