Treasury Manager
Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this individual, in the newly created role, is a
key participant in the company’s treasury management function. The Treasury
Manager will be actively involved in a broad range of treasury related processes and
projects for our rapidly growing company including cash management, forecasting,
banking administration, compliance, foreign currency analysis / hedging and certain
other treasury related operations. This role provides a tremendous opportunity to
transform and enhance our treasury function and to influence a rapidly growing
company.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage daily cash balances and bank reporting
Develop, enhance and manage the cash flow forecasting process, analysis
and reporting
Oversee and manage domestic and international banking relationships for
cash and treasury management services, continuing to drive receipt of best
in class products and services while striving for banking fees optimization.
Assist in analyzing the company’s FX exposure, developing potential hedging
strategies / programs and managing such programs.
Partner with investment managers on the planning and execution of our
investment strategies. Monitor / report on investment portfolio results.
Manage and administer cash management systems to optimize efficiencies
including developing and enhancing end-to-end process flows.
Partner with Tax, legal and accounting teams to execute overall global cash
planning.
Execute and / or approve wire / ACH payments.
Monitor and optimize interest expense, bank fees and merchant services
activities including monthly reporting.
Identify and coordinate operational improvements including potential
treasury management systems.
Assist with the insurance risk management activities including annual
insurance renewal process.
Work with banking partners to obtain and renew Letter of Credits to support
business transactions.
Help manage Treasury compliance in the area of SOX control and audit
management
Participate in special projects and strategic planning activities as needed.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 5+ years of treasury operations experience including cash
forecasting and cash management
BA/BS degree in finance, economics or accounting preferred
CPA and/or CTP preferred, MBA is a plus
Global banking experience with an understanding of operational banking
requirements
Experience managing a company’s hedging program
Consistent track record of strong organizational skills
Experience using various treasury, banking and financial reporting systems
Independent / flexible problem-solver with the ability to adapt as the business
grows.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced team.
Willingness to roll up one’s sleeves and “pick up a shovel.”
Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills to interact with
various levels of management and build influential relationships with partners
in the business.
