The Tax Analyst will have a primary focus on tax preparation and compliance at InterSystems. This position will involve tax research, accounting, problem solving and excellent communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide general assistance to the Tax Director and act as main point of contact for a variety of projects
• Handle, coordinate, and assist with tax projects and tax compliance matters including:

• US federal, state and non US tax returns
• State and local sales tax returns
• Update and maintain tax exempt certificate files
• Quarterly estimated tax calculations
• Tax depreciation and fixed asset reconciliations
• R&E tax credit documentation and calculations
• Foreign tax credit support and documentation

• Maintain Tax Department files related to income tax projections
• Work closely with customer operations, legal, accounting, and international controllers
• Assist with annual financial statement audit and all tax audits

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state and federal compliance
• Exposure to state and local sales tax ideally within the software industry
• Experience with SAGE FAS, Workday and Excel
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple time-sensitive and confidential projects; able to work under tight deadlines with attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Education and Training:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting
• 3-5 years of relevant tax experience
