Staff Accountant

Responsibilities:
- Prepare month, quarter and year-end close deliverables in a timely manner
- Prepare daily and month end journal entries
- Assist in ad-hoc projects
- Report daily cash to management and full ownership of all cash related accounting activities
- Assume low risk accounting activities
- Assist in internal controls and internal/external audit support
- Facilitate month end close meetings and manage close checklists
Qualifications:
- Degree in accounting/finance preferred
- 1-3 years of experience, including relevant internship/co-op experience
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication, organization and analytical skills
- CPA is a plus
- Strong Excel skills – VLOOKUP, Sumif, “data” functions etc
- Oracle or other large ERP experience is a plus
- Performed reconciliations and journals previously
