CrunchTime! Information Systems, a leading enterprise solution provider to the hospitality industry, is looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team. We are looking for a highly organized, detail oriented, motivated, and ambitious individual who is looking for an opportunity to join a rapidly expanding software company that is dedicated to being an industry leader. The Staff Accountant will be a key contributor to the accounting team and will report directly to the Assistant Controller.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete and maintain GL entries - vendor data, GL coding, department coding
  • Maintain AP vendor approval process, vendor payments and data entry
  • Maintain company credit card transactions and reporting
  • Calculate monthly amounts related to employee expense reimbursements & benefits
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations
  • Update weekly cash flow forecasts
  • Perform basic administrative functions (coordinate office lunches and Thirsty Thursdays, maintain and order office supplies, contact building administration with any issues)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred
  • 1-3 years prior experience working in accounting/finance
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Prior experience with accounting software is desired
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to deliver results in both team and independent environments
  • A creative mind with an ability to anticipate problems and suggest improvements
