The Staff Accountant role will assist in the accounting operations of the company by helping us with various general ledger activities while helping to streamline vital accounting practices. We are looking for candidates with an accounting or finance degree and experience at a high–growth technology company. This is a highly collaborative role with high visibility throughout the organization

About this roll* (Responsibilities) 

• Ensure correct recording of customer financing costs
• Update and maintain various individual account reconciliations on a monthly basis
• Ensuring that customer charges are properly accounted for and categorized in the general ledger
• Assist with the monthly general ledger close and ensuring Journals are entered on a timely basis
• Work closely with the billing, collections, and customer financing teams to ensure transactions are accurately recorded
• Documenting and improving the processes for all assigned tasks
• Develop and implement new or improved accounting procedures by evaluating current procedures and  recommending changes
• Support various special projects and ad hoc tasks as necessary

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

• 2+ years of related accounting experience, B.S. in Accounting or Finance
• Ability to multitask and prioritize independently in a fast-paced environment
• An eye for detail and accuracy is imperative
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic understanding of US GAAP
• Basic Excel skills required

• Experience working in NetSuite, Salesforce, and other integrated SaaS systems
