Sr. Director, International Finance

We have a challenge and opportunity ahead of us to scale quickly and effectively with a goal of $1B in revenue by 2019. We cannot do this without an exceptional group of people in finance. Our ability to lead in this area will be determined primarily by our ability to hire the very best people, unite around a common set of goals and create a high energy culture of innovation and collaboration. The role of the International Finance Lead is to be a business partner to the International Business team and help to facilitate the Company’s growth while being a strategic partner.

Responsibilities:

• Review actual results vs. budget monthly, providing insights and corrective actions to international leadership team to ensure achievement of annual financial goals
• Run a weekly and monthly process to get transparency on operational performance across countries, crops and business models
• Develop financial analysis to support key international commercial decisions, including profitability analysis, cash flow projections, and NPV modeling.
• Assess opportunities and risks, including a process to capture, review regularly, and drive opportunity-capture and risk-mitigation
• Partner with COO to provide insights and challenge into financial business performance; be able to clearly understand drivers of the business, and new market opportunities
• Partner with individual Country Heads to support special projects or analysis on business initiatives within each country
• Lead annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and long-term planning processes
• Develop key relationships within finance to build influence within the department and contribute to shaping and driving key Finance processes and organizational development

Qualifications:

• 15+ years’ experience in FP&A role
• MBA required
• Agriculture experience required 
• Ability to speak Spanish and/or Portuguese is required
