Our Corporate FP&A team has an opening for a Senior Financial Analyst who will help own and drive enterprise-wide financial modeling for Cybereason. This is a highly visible and exciting role, rich in analytics and playing a meaningful role to support strategic decision-making. This will involve collaborating with key functions across the entire organization. Furthermore, the role offers the opportunity to obtain a 'big picture' view of the Company's performance while at the same time improving processes to build efficiencies and accuracy.
What You'll Do
- Monitor the company’s financial status by reviewing trends, industry standards, performance relative to expectations and benchmarks, etc.
- Improve fiscal health with thorough analyses of financial data to develop deep, actionable insights that drive business performance. This includes monitoring KPIs and identifying industry trends
- Own the company’s consolidated financial model with monthly forecast updates, collaboration with stakeholders to understand the fundamental drivers, and implementing continuous enhancements
- Help drive the company’s planning and forecasting cadence in partnership with the FP&A team, operations, and functional stakeholders
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Senior Director of Corporate FP&A, business unit FP&A, investor relations, accounting, and business stakeholders on various reporting and modeling exercises
- Uphold standards through on-going reporting and thorough analysis of financial data to understand fundamental drivers
- Assist in preparing quarterly materials for board of director meetings by analyzing industry standard SaaS metrics & KPIs
- Develop and maintain confidential, protected databases to monitor business performance, and provide management with insights into any risks or opportunities
Who You Are
- Professional Finance experience, with exposure to cybersecurity, SaaS, or high growth company a plus; public company experience also helpful, but not required
- Deep understanding of the relationships between the three financial statements, and experience modeling forward-looking projections in a consolidated model
- Detail oriented and able to translate big-picture analysis while never losing sight of the finer points
- Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills
- MS Excel and PowerPoint expert
- Ability to work comfortably with incomplete information and deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Extremely curious - not satisfied with easy or convenient answers; drives issues to root cause
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; must be able to form positive relationships with business partners and peers
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality around product launches, corporate forecasts and other strategic initiatives
