Senior Financial Analyst

This role will be an integral part of the Restaurants Financial, Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team with a focus on business partnership and supporting the budgeting, planning, and business analytics functions. This role requires an independent, proactive and organized candidate who will adapt well in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Ability to develop relationships across the organization, influence other teams and design collaborations to drive results and improve process efficiency
• Work closely with functional teams in the Restaurants Business Unit to develop a deep understanding of the business and to accurately forecast topline, headcount and direct costs
• Update and maintain detailed financial models and be able to communicate outcomes and recommendations effectively
• Perform monthly forecast to actuals analysis and communicate variances to business stakeholders
• Work with other finance and business team members to prepare ad hoc analytics and reports 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required
• 3-5 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting or forecasting, or in a related finance function
• Full P&L knowledge and/or Ownership
• Extreme attention to detail
• Thorough knowledge of Excel and its data and analysis tools
• Anaplan experience or interest in learning Anaplan a plus
• Hyperion Planning and Hyperion Essbase skills a plus
• Strong qualitative and quantitative skills, with a demonstrated passion for using data to drive decision making
• Extremely organized with the ability to contribute to multiple projects within tight time lines
• A team player, able to step in and help out other members of the team when needed
• An inquisitive nature, someone who wants to explore variances and understand the root cause
• A self-starter who is able to work effectively in a complex, changing environment and to adapt to change while focusing on key goals and objectives
• Strong presentation skills
• Knowledge of SQL or interest in learning SQL a plus
• International experience with proven ability to work with people from different cultures a plus
• Tech company experience is preferred
