The position of Senior Financial Analyst, Product & Marketing - Ninja within FP&A will be responsible for working with Finance leadership, & cross-functional departments in the business. The primary responsibilities will include supporting the Ninja Category teams, working closely with our Product Development, Marketing, Commercialization, & Engineering teams. This position will act as a financial business partner, providing Profit & Loss insight and reporting, in-depth margin analysis, & leading cost optimization efforts. Reporting to the Manager of FP&A, this position is part of a dynamic team that works in a fast-paced environment, where keen attention to detail and an ability to partner with the business is crucial to success.

Essential Functions

• Key member of a global Product and Marketing FP&A team
• Drive development & implementation of internal reporting processes, including BI tools supporting:
• Category and Sub-Category level P&Ls
• Cost Optimization efforts, including continuing value engineering and factory cost synergies
• Margin analysis
• Partner with Category Teams (Marketing, Product Development, & Sales) to support both standard reporting and ongoing scenario analyses to enable informed decision-making while managing rapidly evolving assumptions
• Work cross-functionally with the business and FP&A colleagues to develop financial models
• Create analysis and presentations that condense complex topics into actionable information that is communicated effectively to the business
• Lead standard weekly meetings across a variety of partner functions and levels of seniority
• Ad hoc analytics and other duties, including special projects, as assigned

• Working with global team members requires flexibility and respect of time zone requirements (meeting schedules, communication timelines, etc.)

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant work experience in Finance/Accounting
• Previous experience with budgeting and analysis, preferably in consumer products or manufacturing
• Objective oriented with a strong emphasis on business partnership and continuous improvement
• Effective communication and social skills, proven ability to partner cross-functionally
• Proven analytical and organizational skills, with strong accountability
• Demonstrated ability to lead competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Highly visible role with the ability to effectively partner with and/or challenge senior leadership
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills required, especially the need to have exceptional modeling skills in Excel
• Adaptive Insights experience a plus
