Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis
Overview
Intralinks, a business unit of SS&C (NASDAQ: SSNC), is a financial technology provider of SaaS solutions for the global banking, deal making, and capital markets communities. The Senior Financial Analyst will be a key player on the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) team and act as a strategic business partner to the business.
About the Team
The FP&A team is chartered with providing critical business information on a timely basis to ensure optimal efficiency in decision making for the organization. In this role you will help drive decision making at the executive level by serving as a strategic business partner to multiple internal stakeholders; improving processes where needed, developing insightful analysis, creating monthly and quarterly reporting packages, and assisting in budgeting and forecasting.
Responsibilities
- Provide FP&A support across the business; including the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and long-range plans
- Ensure accurate and timely production of internal management reporting and analyses, including scorecard/key performance metrics
- Partner with the business in managing expenses and providing budget owners visibility to cost trends
- Drive continuous improvement within the finance organization to streamline processes and improve visibility into performance
- Develop ad-hoc analysis for the leadership team
Basic Qualifications:
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Analytical with well-developed problem-solving skills
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP accounting and reporting requirements
- Experience with Salesforce, Workday, Adaptive, Tableau, and other SaaS-based systems a plus
- Innovative self-starter capable of working independently
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
