Carbon Black is hiring a Senior Director of Finance to act as a critical partner and consultant to the CEO and CFO. In this role, you’ll lead a high-performing team to define and report meaningful financial and operational metrics to ensure a transparent operational view into the health of Carbon Black while driving accountability. 

We’ve recently implemented new BI tools, offering you a huge opportunity to drive continuous improvements in reporting speed, scale, and accuracy as you build and maintain key financial processes in support of Carbon Black’s rapid growth.

What You’ll Do:

• Advise the CFO and other senior management about the financial performance of the company, including recommendations for action, financial modeling, financial analysis and valuation support for acquisitions, new product development, and long-term contracts
• Oversight of the financial planning tools and technology, including driving the enhancement roadmap in partnership with our financial systems team
• Develop a comprehensive reporting package that includes full financial statements, key performance indicators (KPI), operational dashboard reporting, analysis of key business trends, and actual versus budget variances
• Prepare Executive and Board presentations, including financial reporting, detailed business analysis, and recommendations

• Lead the FP&A function by establishing objectives, setting the vision of accountability and measurements of success to meet the growing needs across the business that drive the overall organization forward

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related major
• 12+ years of progressive corporate finance management roles in high-growth, multi-national companies
• Experience in financial planning for a global enterprise, financial and economic modeling and analysis, and capital planning/treasury exposure
• Solid track record in project financial analysis, strategic planning and corporate development
• Solid business acumen and intuitive problem-solving skills with unquestionable integrity and personal ethics
