The Role:

Thrasio is looking for an experienced Cost Accountant. This role will specifically be involved in managing costing for new acquisitions, including calculating full landed costs and working cross functionally to ensure acquired inventory is accurately captured and integrated into NetSuite. Also, this role will provide oversight to the inventory measurement at 3rd Party Locations.

Key responsibilities:

• Collecting data to accurately calculate costs for Acquired Inventory
• Reconciling Acquired Inventory uploads to payments
• Organizing Inventory counts at 3rd party locations, related to Acquired Inventory
• Reconcile Inventory General Ledger accounts
• Perform Ad Hod Inventory analysis and projects
• Reconcile physical Inventory

What you bring to the party:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field
• 3+ years of accounting/finance experience
• Big 4 Public accounting experience a plus
• CPA/MBA a plus
• Self-starter with excellent analytical, organization and multitasking skills
• Inventory knowledge preferred
• Acquisitions experience a plus
• Familiar with Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with an accounting system such as QuickBooks or NetSuite a plus.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS
