Sales Operations Specialist

Ned Davis Research, Inc., (NDR) is looking for an ambitious Sales Operations Specialist with strong analytical skills to drive our operational excellence. You’ll work collaboratively across teams in support of our sales and financial operations. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working with CRM platforms, is well-versed in accounting processes, and has the ability to effectively manage various operational tasks.

Working at NDR will provide you with the flexibility to work from home a couple days per week, while also collaborating in person at our office near South Station the rest of the week. Responsibilities
Support Sales Team throughout order process flow (order approval and entry workflow in CRM) and general operations related to account management and business development (setting up trials, granting users access, etc.)
Primary lead on Salesforce (CRM) activities/operations, including but is not limited to: organizing and prioritizing enhancements for the technical support team, testing workflows, building dashboards for senior management, communicating new features, and providing training to the Sales team
Provide Finance/Accounting support including invoice management, collections and cash applications
Act as a liaison between Sales and other functions, such as tech support, product, and marketing
Support Marketing team with the creation and distribution of leads to the Sales organization
Own and maintain operations training and documentation for Sales
Manage onboarding process and Salesforce training for new hires in the Sales department.
Support Sales Operations Director and Global Head of Sales with completion of the monthly and ad hoc reporting requirements including data gathering and spreadsheet development for sales forecasting and reporting
Requirements
BA/BS degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or other quantitative focus
1-2 years of experience in Sales Operations, Accounting or Finance
Demonstrate strong communication and organization skills needed for a fast-paced environment
Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications
Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
Familiarity with NetSuite a plus
Demonstrated ability to coordinate and communicate across departments
Independent, pragmatic, logical and detail oriented problem solver
Prior experience working in a distributed team environment is a bonus, but not required
