THE ROLE

The Revenue Manager - Air Business is a hybrid role, equal parts revenue analyst and business development manager. Competitive candidates will be efficient, resourceful and proactive. They will demonstrate an outstanding ability to extract actionable insights from data and to persuade internal and/or external stakeholders to take action using the insights. Hopper is building a global business, and the Revenue Manager will play a key role in optimizing the performance of Hopper’s partnerships, particularly in international markets.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Conduct extensive analysis of Hopper’s commercial performance across multiple regions and countries
  • Collaborate with other Hopper teams (ex. data science, sales, user acquisition) to identify local factors that impact Hopper’s competitiveness in each market
  • Build dashboards to track internal KPIs and maintain/update revenue performance documents weekly
  • Become expert in key management systems such as Tableau, Salesforce, Amplitude, and Jira
  • Utilize data-driven insights to identify new revenue opportunities with current partners
  • Work directly with Hopper partners to identify and drive initiatives that grow mutual revenue
  • Participate directly in all aspects of annual/semi-annual contract renegotiations with Hopper airline supply partners around the world
  • Participate in ad hoc or special projects as required

A COMPELLING CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-4 years of relevant professional experience, with a strong preference for that experience to be in tech and/or a growth stage startup
  • Clear, demonstrable analytical skills - concrete examples of work with revenue and revenue-adjacent data and internal and external KPIs
  • Clear, demonstrable presentation and negotiation skills - concrete examples of creating business cases, pitching and closing new business
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills, especially when interacting with internal colleagues and external stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building abilities
  • History of managing multiple projects concurrently and delivering work on-time
  • Familiarity with Tableau and Amplitude (or similar data analysis tools) preferred
  • Familiarity with GDS, NDC and travel tech ecosystem preferred
  • Ability to maintain quality and focus while working independently
