As a Revenue Operations Analyst, you’ll assist the sales and customer success teams within Rapid7’s quote to cash process and are responsible for assisting with the implementation of new Go-To-Customer initiatives. You will work in coordination with our finance, legal, sales operations, and IT teams on both day-to-day activities, as well as on process efficiency projects. You will also play a key role in training our sales and customer success teams on company policies and in enabling the Revenue Accounting & Operations team on new Go-To-Customer initiatives.

In this role you will:

• Assist Sales Representatives with the following:

  • Pre-quoting evaluation of potential deal structures

  • Quoting with non-standard language for unique deal structures

  • Custom billing schedule language

  • Future pricing and custom renewal language

  • Structuring of renewal/upsells deals

  • Execution of quotes for limited time sales promotions

• Investigate customer transaction history to in order to assist with the structuring of deals

• Serve as a liaison to Go-To-Customer teams on financial metrics and related follow-up

• Develop training materials and assist with sales rep and Revenue Accounting & Operations team member enablement

• Assist with the implementation of Go-To-Customer initiatives including new products and new sales promotions 

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support the quote-to-cash process

• Build relationships with internal partners to resolve issues in a timely fashion and make recommendations to continually improve processes and increase efficiency

• Develop and maintain process and policy documentation 

• Assist in various initiatives such as system improvements and international expansion

• Assist with special projects as needed by Management

What you will bring:

• 0-2 years of experience in order management or an operations role

• BA/ BS in Accounting or Finance degree from 4 year college or university or equivalent experience

• Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail.

• Strong commitment to working with a team, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining professionalism is required

• Effective and decisive under pressure

• Independent/flexible problem-solver with ability to positively cope with change

• Advanced excel skills a plus

• Strong organizational skills, concise documentation skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
