Pricing Analyst
This is a new role on a growing Strategic Pricing team at Dynatrace. The Pricing Analyst will support and drive pricing projects, strategy, operations and data science. Your activities will range from strategic to tactical, from research and analysis on pricing models to analysis of transactions to identify patterns, actionable questions & insights. This role balances an opportunity to make an impact and put your fingerprints on outcomes with an opportunity to learn how pricing works cross-functionally across the organization to drive top-line and bottom-line results. In a given week, you might help organize a product launch, help execute a price model change, find and structure data for analysis, help support our Sales organization win challenging high-profile deals, help drive pricing guidance, and pitch a new idea of your own to improve the business. This is a generalist pricing role that has strong potential to grow within the team and a future opportunity to specialize in an area of interest.
Responsibilities:
- Dig into and drive strategic projects alongside pricing leads and cross-functional team members from across the organization
- Support, organize, and communicate progress in getting new products set up and priced correctly across business systems alongside partners in Product, Services, Sales, Sales Ops, Renewals, Business Systems, Finance & Legal
- Research potential and existing customers and make deal pricing strategy recommendations through Deal Desk to help Sales teams win impactful deals
- Leverage your critical thinking and problem-solving skills to successfully and continually help keep momentum on the right track across initiatives, operations and projects
- Draw on your data acumen and attention to detail in sourcing and managing data
- Be a team player willing to take on ad hoc requests to the team from across the company

Requirements:
- Bachelors’ degree from a competitive college or university required
- 2-5 years of experience in pricing, marketing, sales or related functions required
- Advanced Excel and MS Office required
- Tech industry and SaaS experience preferred
- Experience with data management tools preferred
- Knowledge of Salesforce and other business systems preferred
- Travel up to 10%
