Payments Administrator

As a Payments Administrator, you will work closely with the Controller and members of the Strategy, Finance, Analytics Team, Operations Team and Payments Team. You will report to the Controller and collaborate frequently with the Collections and Operations teams.
Forward Financing invests in our employees and their development. Your role in monitoring and governing financial transactions will be critical to driving our mission forward.
In this role you will:
- Release merchant cash advance fundings to the end recipients.
- Upload payments, investigate discrepancies and rejections. Approve payment plans and check against the internal apps ensure accuracy with SalesForce; delete constraints and elevate issues to Product Managers
- Verify and reconcile internal applications on a daily basis to ensure the total funding agrees to the SalesForce.
- Work with Senior Accountant and Controller on weekly syndication calculations.
- Work on Operational projects as they arise.
- Provide support for Finance Administrator, Payments team and renewals team as needed.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
- 1+ years of experience, preferably in a payments related field (would consider highly qualified recent graduates)
