Description
We are seeking an energetic individual to fill an entry level, full-time, Accounting role. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic self-starter who is motivated to set and achieve goals and take initiative within the workplace. They are organized, professional and demonstrate excellent attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing accounting and administrative duties. You will support our business growth and accounting department by processing invoices, transactions, expenses as well as updating our accounting database. This position will give you the opportunity to grow your accounting knowledge and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting duties including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Update and maintain accounting database with data entry and reports.
- Audit employees travel expenses, corporate credit cards use, and reconciled with the monthly close.
- Assist with monthly close including bank reconciliation, financial statements.
- Prepares assigned journal entries and account reconciliations accurately and timely.
- Supports requirements of annual audits (internal, external) on a timely basis.
- Perform day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files, filing, processing paperwork, and other tasks as requested.
Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field of study
- 0-2 years' of experience working in Accounting, fresh graduates are welcome
- Hands on experience with Quickbooks preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly detail-oriented
