We’re looking for an entrepreneurial and driven individual to join our IT organization to support Snyk’s finance, accounting and legal organizations during this period of hyper-growth.  As an IT Business Partner, a qualified candidate must have a solid foundation in a breadth of finance and accounting business processes.  Also as a core member of the business applications team, we are searching for a flexible person who learns quickly, is a highly effective communicator and has previous experience partnering across multiple teams within an organization.

You will use your understanding of the current business processes, pain points, and challenges to find technological solutions and enhancements.  You will partner with the business and the broader IT organization to help prioritize all solutions identified and develop an execution roadmap.

You’ll spend your time:

• working with key stakeholders across Snyk’s finance, accounting and legal teams to obtain an understanding current business processes, pain points, and challenges 
• identifying and and implementing technology solutions for process efficiency, automation and scale
• collaborating on the intake process and prioritization of candidate projects across the company
• collaborating with key stakeholders and IT management to develop annual budgets and establish prioritized roadmaps based on business needs and desired outcomes
• acting as the key liaison between your primary work streams, the IT department, system integrator and other outside vendors
• collaborating on the intake process and prioritization of candidate projects across the company
• evaluating proposals, reviewing and augmenting business cases, and determining how they fit into our global business and IT strategy
• working with business intelligence teams to guide the creation of business-oriented reports based on data available throughout the ecosystem
• leading change management initiatives to minimize disruption to the business and improve end-user experience
• working with the business systems analyst and systems administrator to deliver solutions and improve the day to day for the finance, accounting and legal teams

You should apply if you:

• have Bachelor’s degree in a Technology or Finance related field
• have 10+ years experience in an IT organization supporting finance and/or legal applications
• are user-focussed and enjoy building effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the company
• have a thorough understanding of financial processes across finance and legal workstreams and an understanding of best practices
• are an effective listener and communicator in both formal and informal situations
• have experience collaborating with multiple cross-funtional stakeholders and managing shifting priorities in a dynamic team environment
• are a detail oriented, critical thinker with a problem-solving mindset   
• have experience in working in a geographically distributed / remote environment
• are comfortable and experienced working asynchronously - Slack, written docs, other collaboration and communication tools
• enjoy the speed of a fast-paced, highly engaged startup environment
• act speedily and iteratively - focused on getting things done

We’d especially love to hear from you if you:

• have SaaS industry experience at a global company
• have administered multiple finance systems, across orders-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report and legal operations
• have experience with systems such as SFDC, Ivalua, FloQast, Vena, Avalara, Xactly, Expensify or other similar applications
• are hands-on, curious and love to learn new things
• are an effective listener and communicator able to influence actions and outcomes
• are ridiculously easy to work with - ability to build strong relationships with a broad set of stakeholders that have diverse interests
