The Opportunity

 

As an Investment Change Management Consultant, you will be responsible for applying a structured methodology to lead change managements activities including, but not limited to:? the communication plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan and resistance management plan using ADKAR. The Investment Change Management Consultant will be the Change Management expert within the PMOfI and thus would be responsible to develop a portfolio wide change management approach that can be scaled appropriately to each project. If you have organization change management experience and have previously worked within the financial services industry and/or specifically in insurance asset management, this may be a great opportunity for you.

 

The Team

 

The Program Management Office for Investments (PMOfI) is defining and executing how Investment Management should operate across project and program management in order to help execute the department goals and objectives.? As the Investment Change Management Consultant, you will report to the Investment Program Management Lead.? As a member of this team, you will be working in partnership with the various Investment Project Managers and will be leading business sensitive meetings with varying seniority of investment business stakeholders and thus will need to be a strong and effective communicator.

 

The Impact:

 

As the Investment Change Management Consultant you will develop a Change Management framework and integrate into PMOfI as a natural part of project or initiative objectives and lifecycle. ?You will be responsible for implementing Change Management framework across PMOfI project and programs by working closely with program leadership to ensure alignment on Change Management approach and be accountable for implementing Change Management Plan.? You will have this impact through the below responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships, reputation, credibility, and influence with key stakeholders at all levels across MM to become a trusted partner
  • Complete Change Management assessments; identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics
  • Advise and coach project teams and leadership
  • Consult on problem solving and root cause analysis
  • Train the fundamentals and practices of ADKAR change management model
  • Evaluate and ensure user readiness; define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress; track and report issues
  • Maintain a matrix reporting relationship with the business sponsor of the program/project and the program manager
  • Tailors change management plans (including training and coaching plans) to accommodate the needs of the various impacted stakeholder groups.
  • Creates and helps implement engagement and communications strategies / plans to ensure all employees are fully aware of impending changes.
  • Completes a training needs assessment and training plan that addresses each groups? needs and ensures all employees have the knowledge of the future state process, tool, item or practice.
  • Works with appropriate departments to create coaching plans for Senior Leadership, People Managers, etc.
  • Conducts an impact assessment for stakeholders affected by the change items.
  • Regularly reviews the stakeholder community to assess potential change fatigue.
  • Identifies and provides leadership for change agents and change advocates within the stakeholder community by involving trusted informal leaders to create employee understanding and influence successful change.

 

The Minimum Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor?s degree in business administration or related field
  • At least 8 years of experience building people change management culture to achieve business strategy and objectives
  • At least 8 years of experience influencing levels above, below, and equal to position toward common goal by customizing communications and engagement to meet needs of varying audiences
  • At least 5 years of experience leading teams; developing and executive change management plans for large groups of stakeholders; and experience with start-ups/implementations of systems, products or services
  • Certified in Prosci?s change Management program required

 

 

The Ideal Qualifications

 

  • MBA or CFA designation preferred
  • Previous big four management consulting experience in organizational change management preferred
  • Proficiency in ADKAR model of change management principles, methodologies, and tools (awareness, desire, knowledge, ability and reinforcement)
