We’re looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial VP, FP&A to join our Finance team to lead and grow Snyk’s global FP&A function and team based.

We are specifically looking for Finance professionals who have worked or are currently working in a hyper growth, SaaS enterprise software company and have experience with the subscription business model. Since the entire team is in the East Coast and in EMEA, we are looking for someone who is or is willing to relocated to the East Coast.

The finance team at Snyk embraces concepts of a modern finance organization, focused on automation and data driven insights.   The FP&A team drives all financial planning, revenue forecasting, budgeting and SaaS and other financial metrics  for the company. By the end of this year the team will have supported through more than 150% growth in ARR and headcount. 

You’ll spend your time:

• serving as a primary finance partner to the global Snyk org; own end-to-end financial planning including P&L, BS and Cash Flows.
• managing the monthly, quarterly, and annual FP&A processes, including management reporting, variance analysis, forecasting, and scenario planning.
• building a high performing team that produces rich insights, plans, and forecasts with a high degree of clarity and accuracy.
• developing dashboards to track key performance metrics and monitor business performance. 
• providing management with insights into drivers of revenue and expenses, as well as risks and opportunities.
• evaluating and advising on growth opportunities such as new product launches, international expansion, and business model changes.
• structuring, building, and maintaining complex financial and decision-making models to develop meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
• Identifying and driving cross-functional initiatives to improve process, systems and automation to help the business scale
• working closely with the Finance leadership team to build the financial infrastructure to support the company’s current and future business requirements.

You should apply if you:

• Are a CPA. An MBA is additionally a strong differentiator 
• 10+ years of directly applicable experience with time spent in FP&A within a hyper growth, SaaS enterprise software company
• are a team player and experience managing a small team
• have experience managing to a global P&L across multiple business units and regions
• have experience in public and private companies
• IPO experience would be a plus
• have superb analytical/quantitative and communication skills and strong executive presence
• have ownership mentality and demonstrated ability to independently drive projects to completion, with high attention to detail
• demonstrates thought leadership and manages relationships with senior stakeholders
• have an attitude to challenge the status quo, managing with a sense of urgency through ambiguities with a desire to consistently raise the bar
