Job Summary

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for various accounting tasks including the preparation of account reconciliations, preparing journal entries to be recorded and monthly financial reporting. The Senior Accountant will also have responsibility for maintaining detailed schedules supporting various account balances. An ideal candidate must be ambitious, driven and have perseverance while maintaining a positive attitude.

Understanding of the following tasks are expected:

• Assist in the monthly and quarterly close process including preparing journal entries
• Collaborate with teams across finance organization to ensure data integrity and proper accounting
• Prepare and analyze monthly account reconciliations including maintain supporting schedules
• Assist in the preparation of schedules in connection with external audits
• Work with treasury team on monthly hedging and foreign exchange analysis
• Perform ad hoc account analyses and other departmental tasks, as necessary

Required:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or professional equivalence and additional certifications preferred.

• At least 3-5 years experience in Finance & Accounting – 
• Solid general accounting skills, including accruals and intercompany accounting
• Experience working with multiple entities; having full ownership of accounts is strongly preferred
• Proficiency with MS Office applications, including Excel
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with cross functional teams
• Experience with Workday Financial Systems Preferred
