Job Overview:
The Fraud Manager will take the lead in developing a data-driven approach to optimizing Toast’s fraud management strategy and identifying emerging fraud trends. Responsibilities include strategic initiative execution, team management (analyst level), providing superior customer service and management of day-to-day operations.
What You Will Do
- Analyze large sets of transaction data to develop fraud strategy and actionable insights
- Proactively assist in building and enhancing transaction monitoring rules by running ad-hoc analysis to minimize fraud loss while driving growth
- Drive fraud automation efforts
- Work cross-functionally to communicate analyses to senior management/stakeholders to drive business decisions
- Establish and maintain SLAs, KPIs and drive accountability
- Conduct incident investigation and process handling end-to-end both internally and externally
- Serve as an escalation point as needed for Sales/Customers Success
- Deliver a best-in-class, truly delightful, Payments experience to Toast restaurants and prospects through successful communication (both written and verbal)
- Become a subject matter expert regarding Toast’s payment solutions, fraud prevention tools and deeply understand the payments value proposition and how Toast Payments specifically meets restaurant needs
Do you have the right ingredients?
- 2-5+ years of experience in relevant field
- 2+ years managing experience
- Ability to analyze very large datasets using multiple tools, including SQL
- Strong analytic and organizational skills
- Metric driven and operationally minded
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be highly motivated and able to work within tight deadlines
- An inquisitive nature, someone who wants to explore variances and understand root causes
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, changing environment and to adapt while focusing on key goals and objectives with minimal oversight
