FP&A Manager

The FP&A Manager at Vestmark is a hands-on role that will focus on driving the annual budget, and leading the forecast and planning cycles, including process improvements, reporting packages, and ad-hoc analysis to support decision-making across the organization. This will be an extremely visible role to company leadership. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the annual budgeting process including implementation into Adaptive Financial Insights (FP&A SW)
  • Partner closely with executive and department leaders to manage and review monthly P&L variance analysis
  • Provide business analysis and financial support on internal operations and strategic initiatives
  • Drive financial forecasting and modeling including monthly and quarterly projections
  • Preparation of quarterly reporting packages for the board and investors
  • Provide support on sales commissions, proposals and account renewals
  • Preparation of investor facing materials including corporate decks and adhoc investor requests
  • Ad hoc analysis for executive management team
  • Successful execution of FP&A responsibilities will allow this role to expand into supporting Investor Relations and Corporate Development initiatives
  • Willingness to travel and work extended hours on an as-needed basis 

Required Skills:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Curious, creative problem solver, self-motivated
  • Excellent knowledge of GAAP, as applied to financial reporting standards
  • Experience with Adaptive Financial Insights preferred
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, analytical and abstract reasoning skills
  • Advanced financial excel modeling and analysis skills
  • Excellent team player with emphasis on collaboration
  • Strong interpersonal skills - effective business partner and good executive presence
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic business environment that requires rapid learning, multitasking and prioritization of deliverables
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills; able to respond and exchange ideas clearly and effectively through writing, speaking, and presentations; shares appropriate information to keep people informed

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent

Our company is located in Wakefield about 20 minutes north of Boston. We are conveniently located right off of 95 making it easy to get to the office.

At Vestmark we have a fun committee that plans two to three events per quarter including company and family events.
