This role is more than just formulas and data it’s about helping to deliver high value results. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, the ideal candidate is someone who knows how to manage teams that need to provide accurate results quickly on an ongoing basis in a fast-paced environment. Most importantly you know that the role of a finance team is more than just cost cutting but advising the business on the right investments to make to benefit long term strategic growth.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of Financial Analysts by providing financial leadership and analytical support while also keeping senior management informed on key financial metrics
• Manage and execute complex financial modeling development, enhancement and maintenancearound bookings, revenue, and expense that enable effective P&L and Cash Flow management and predictability
• Lead monthly cadence with business partners to review results, identify and explain variances versus forecast and budget, mitigate risks, and capitalize on opportunities
• Generate management reporting and financial packages on both a routine and ad hoc basis
• Partner with key stakeholders and business leaders to provide strategic financial insights and recommendations

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of GAAP, three statement financial modeling and consolidated reporting
• BA/BS degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of corporate FP&A experience with proven success; preferably in a SaaS company
• An inquisitive nature, someone who wants to explore variances and understand root causes
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to challenge or influence senior management
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, changing environment and to adapt while focusing on key goals and objectives

Bonus Skills:

• Experience in a high growth tech company, investment banking, private equity, management consulting and M&A
• Strong systems skills with experience in cloud based ERP/Financial System with preference towards NetSuite, Adaptive Planning and Salesforce
• MBA a plus
• Knowledge with multiple revenue streams including SAAS, Payments, Hardware, and Implementation
• Knowledge of SQL, Python or R
