The position of Financial Analyst, NA Retail within FP&A will be responsible for working with Finance leadership, & cross-functional departments in the business. The primary responsibilities will include supporting the SharkNinja Retail organization, working closely with our sales & commercialization teams on pricing, promotional strategy & in-depth margin analysis. Reporting to the Senior Manager of FP&A, this position is part of a dynamic team that works in a fast-paced environment, where keen attention to detail and an ability to partner with the business is crucial to success. 

Essential Functions

• Key member of a North America Retail FP&A team
• Responsible for forecasting various elements of the P&L
• Responsible for supporting month end for North America Retail, partnering closely with Accounting & Sales to facilitate timely analysis
• Support development & implementation of internal reporting processes, including BI tools
• Partner with sales & commercial analytics leadership to monitor trade spend by activity & account
• Work cross-functionally to develop financial models for new business opportunities
• Build & generate analysis from a variety of different data sources and functional groups on a global basis
• Create analysis and presentations that condense complex topics into actionable information that is communicated effectively to the business
• Ad hoc analytics and other duties, including special projects, as assigned

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant work experience in Finance/ Accounting
• Previous experience with budgeting and analysis, preferably in consumer products or retail
• Effective communication and social skills, proven ability to partner cross-functionally
• Proven analytical and organizational skills, with strong accountability
• Demonstrated ability to lead competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Highly visible role with the ability to effectively partner with and/or challenge senior leadership
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills required, especially the need to have exceptional modeling skills in Excel
• Domo or Adaptive Insights experience a plus
